This page explains how to report copyright concerns about content created or distributed through SoundBreak.
1) Overview
SoundBreak respects the intellectual property rights of artists, creators, and copyright holders. If you believe content on SoundBreak infringes your copyright, you may request its removal under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
2) How to file a DMCA notice
Your notice must include:
- Your full legal name
- Your contact information (email address required)
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing (a link or description)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act
- Your electronic signature (your typed name is fine)

3) What happens next
- We will review your request.
- If valid, we will remove or restrict access to the identified content.
- We may notify the user who uploaded or generated the material.
- In some cases, the user may submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was a mistake.
4) Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe this was an error, you may file a counter-notice. We will restore the content unless the original claimant files a legal action within 10 business days.
5) Repeat infringement
SoundBreak may suspend or terminate users who repeatedly upload or generate content that violates copyright law.
