Acceptable Use Policy
Seshy AI, Inc. d/b/a SoundBreak
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to all use of the SoundBreak platform. By using SoundBreak, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.
1. Intellectual Property Compliance
You may not upload, submit, or use any material that you do not have the legal right to use. This includes:
- Unauthorized music recordings, stems, vocals, instrumentals, or samples
- Lyrics or compositions you did not write or license
- Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, publicity, or moral rights of others
2. Misrepresentation and Artist Impersonation
You may not:
- Use SoundBreak to impersonate or mislead others into believing a track was created by a real artist
- Use AI-generated work to falsely claim affiliation, endorsement, authorship, or identity
- Present the AI Artist as a human performer
3. Distribution Rules and Metadata Integrity
When distributing music to DSPs:
- You must correctly assign publishing metadata with a 50% / 50% split between you and the designated AI co-writer.
- You may not remove, alter, or misrepresent co-writer attribution when distributing through third-party distributors.
- Royalty-Free exports may not be released to DSPs unless upgraded to a Distribution License.
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not use SoundBreak to create, generate, upload, or distribute any content that:
- Promotes hate, harassment, violence, or discriminatory conduct
- Depicts sexual content involving minors or exploitation
- Supports or enables illegal activity or organizations
- Attempts to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate SoundBreak’s AI models or datasets
- Attempts to manipulate streaming, charting, or royalty systems (e.g., bots, artificial inflation)
5. Platform Security
You may not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the platform, including:
- Unauthorized access attempts
- API misuse or rate limit circumvention
- Automated scraping or harvesting
6. Enforcement
SoundBreak may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations of this Policy. We may also disable distribution for specific tracks at our discretion.
